chinese-calligraphy The purpose of psychotherapy is to value and understand difficult life experiences of depression, anxiety, stress, meaninglessness, deep fatigue, boredom, lack of creativity, and/or spiritual emptiness. By meeting weekly in a respectful, private setting these problems and past or current wounds and confusions can be welcomed and addressed.

I offer treatment for women, men and couples helping them to overcome difficult emotions and manage such life transitions as finding one’s way in the world, managing unhealthy relationships, surviving break-ups, career changes, loss of a parent or a child leaving home, and coping with health issues.

Areas of concerns included in psychotherapy are:

  • Stage-of-Life Transitions including Empty Nest, Job Loss and Caring for Aging Parents
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Chronic pain, Illness, Grief and Loss
  • Relationship Problems including Separation and Divorce
  • Work and Career Concerns
  • Women’s Issues
  • Men’s Issues
  • Sexual and/or spiritual identity
  • Personal Growth
